Logitech Announces Touch-Controlled Mice And Touchpad For Windows 8

Logitech introduced the new Logitech Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad T650, Logitech Touch Mouse T620, and Logitech Zone Touch Mouse T400. All three of these new products are designed to work with the Windows 8 touch interface.
The Logitech Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad T650 features a large touch area with a glass surface that works with Windows 8 gestures. In addition to using the Touchpad T650 for basic functions such as pointing, clicking, and scrolling, you can also use the Windows 8 edge gestures for switching apps, pinch-to-zoom, three-finger swipe, and charms bar activation. The Touchpad T650 recharges through USB and can last for up to one month on a single charge.

The Logitech Touch Mouse T620 features a full touch surface and supports gestures directly from the mouse. This mouse even supports gestures from the edges of the surface of the mouse. The Touch Mouse T620 features a laser-grade optical sensor for precision tracking. Logitech claims the Logitech Touch Mouse T620 has a six-month battery life using two AA batteries.

The Logitech Zone Touch Mouse T400 features a glass touch surface that supports horizontal and vertical scrolling with your fingers. The front of the touch zone provides easy access to the Windows 8 Start Screen. This mouse has a rubber grip and also features the standard functionality found in a traditional mouse. Logitech says you can expect the Logitech Zone Touch Mouse T400 to have a battery life of about 18 months.

The Logitech Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad T650 ($79.99), Logitech Touch Mouse T620 ($69.99), and Logitech Zone Touch Mouse T400 ($49.99) will be available later this month.
